West Coast Fire & Integration was founded in Costa Mesa, CA on January 1, 2014 upon completion of the acquisition of SSI, having over a 25-year history as a full service Fire Life-Safety, Security, Nurse Call and Voice/Data Integration Company which was founded in 1993 primarily serving the Inland Empire region of Southern California.

The acquisition provides West Coast Fire & Integration over 25 years of industry presence, a UL Listing as a Fire Alarm Designer/Installer and an expanded professional staff to build upon. Our products and service offerings include all regions of Southern California. The depth of resources includes a bonding capacity in excess of $10M to ensure our clients are comfortable with the financial strength and capability to perform large technical and complex projects.

Alarm Company Operator ACO # 7407

An Alarm Company Operator operates a business that sells (at the buyer's home or business), installs, monitors, maintains, services, or responds to alarm systems or supervises such actions. (Retail stores do not have to be licensed if they sell alarm systems only at the store and do not perform any alarm company functions.)

California Contractors License # 989173 C-10 and C-7

California Code of Regulations Title 16, Division 8, Article 3, classifies a licensed C-10 Electrical Contractor as one who places, installs, erects or connects any electrical wires, fixtures, appliances, apparatus, raceways, conduits, solar photovoltaic cells or any part thereof, which generate, transmit, transform or utilize electrical energy in any form or for any purpose.

California Code of Regulations Title 16, Division 8, Article 3 classifies a C-7 Communication and Low Voltage Contractor as one who installs, services and maintains all types of communication and low voltage systems which are energy limited and do not exceed 91 volts. These systems include, but are not limited to telephone systems, sound systems, cable television systems, closed-circuit video systems, satellite dish antennas, instrumentation and temperature controls, and low voltage landscape lighting. Low voltage fire alarm systems are specifically not included in this section.

2019

2019 saw another great year at West Coast Fire and Integration with double digit growth and the opening of our new office in Colton.

2016

Building on a rapport from over 25 years of industry know-how and installations, West Coast Fire and Integration is recognized with both the TekTone Elite Partner Award and the Honeywell Notifier Premier Distributor Award.

2015

West Coast Fire and Integration receives the Notifier Diamond Distributor Award.

2014

West Coast Fire and Integration acquires SSI, adds an office in the Costa Mesa / Irvine area and extends service to Orange County, Los Angeles County, and San Bernadino County. In addition, WCFI becomes a Notifier ESD (Engineered System Distributor) for Southern California.

1993

SSI primarily serves the Inland Empire region of Southern California with Fire Alarm and Fire Life-safety installations, with company administration led by Dan Scherneck.
